Ivan Scherman is the creator of the method that turned SciTech Investments into a global benchmark in quantitative investing. More than a portfolio manager, he is an engineer of growth: he designed a mechanism capable of turning market chaos into a predictable sequence of wealth expansion.

From the beginning of his career, Ivan understood that the real problem in the financial industry was the lack of predictability. He saw how investors suffered losses by trusting intuition, market fads or unscientific assumptions.

He dedicated his life to building a model based on science, engineering and data. His system operates exclusively on behavior patterns that can be statistically verified, allowing risk to be managed with precision and ensuring each loss is only temporary within an inevitable growth process.

In 2023, Ivan proved the effectiveness of his methodology by winning the World Cup Trading Championship in the futures category, achieving extraordinary returns with unprecedented consistency. This publicly validated what he had demonstrated privately for years: that it is possible to reduce chance in investing.

Ivan is a CMT (Chartered Market Technician), CFTe (Certified Financial Technician), and has developed expertise in Risk Management, Data Science, Financial Engineering and Applied Statistics. He studied at institutions including London Business School, ARPM Lab at NYU (Stern School of Business) and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Since 2014, he has been recognized by the SEC as a Large Trader.
